The good thing about going away at this particular time is that I'm going to come home to a new master bathroom! We are actually getting it done! For the longest time, it was just studs in there, but when we got the house reappraised for refinancing, that was a bit of a problem. We were able to get the new loan with contingency that we finish the bathroom in 90 days. Justin was a bit on the upset side because he had dreams of tearing down the old decrepit garage and building himself a new one during the summer. However, he gets to work on the bathroom. It will be like magic! Leave on vacation, and come back to a newly finished bathroom!
On Wednesday, we primed the whole thing in the morning and then painted it after we got home from church. We were up a little bit late, but we wanted it to be done before the tilers came and we would have to actually tape things off and work around the tile. No, no. Must have a blank canvas to work with. Much easier that way! The tilers then came in the morning and right now, the grout is drying. Wow! I'm loving it!
We hosted our young couple's Bible study last night and when everyone got the tour, someone commented that it was like luxury. I have to say, that is how we feel, too. We have never had a master bath, nor one that is this big and nice. I feel very blessed, and whenever I walk in there, I can't help but pinch myself. This is our house! I can't wait to see the rest of it!!

Here is the soaking tub and the new surround. Notice also the wall color. :)

Here is our new shower. The shower head still needs to be installed, but Justin is excited because he picked out a panel that has four shower heads. He is pumped about that...I suppose I am, too. :)

I finally got around to putting up new curtains in the living room and it really adds to the room! Thanks to my cousin, Angie, who helped me pick them out. :)

Can't wait to see all your progress next weekend!
